Professional athletes and coaches have sworn by muscle therapy for years. This type of bodywork acts to improve performance, reduce pain, prevent injury, encourage focus and shorten recovery time. It basically involves two types of responses: a mechanical response as a result of the pressure and movement, and a reflex response where the nerves respond to the stimulation of muscle manipulation.

SPORTS BODYWORK

Improve athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury with incorporating deep, compression, stretching and assisted ROM techniques. Reduce pain, increase flexibility and enhance recovery time from injury and/or overworked muscles.

INTEGRATED MUSCLE THERAPY

Different hands-on techniques are used in integrated muscle therapy to promote physiological changes via the fascial system. This type of bodywork coincides with guided movements and other techniques to help stimulate atrophied muscles and release compressed soft tissue. Integrated muscle therapy is also useful in the management of pain. Various modalities are, but not limited to; Cupping, Percussion Gun, IASTM, Mobility Stretching, etc...

MOBILITY STRETCHING

The body is made for movement. The goal of stretching is to develop and maintain appropriate ROM around joints, and also to aid in the strengthening of tendons and ligaments. Stretching/releasing tight muscles should also go in tandem with fortifying weak muscles. This includes, but is not limited to; Passive, Isometric and/or PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and Hip Flexor Release.
